Sight

I bought this beautiful bracelet made by Filosofie Macrame in the medieval town of Sermoneta last week when I visited with friends.  I was drawn to its stone, Labradorite, because it reminded me of scrying bowls and mirrors used by seers (and Dumbledore). Ok, I admit it was also because it looks kinda goth.  Anyway, Labradorite is associated with self-discovery, intuition, and the awakening of one’s inner spirit. Since I’m on this Crone Journey to focus on my physical, mental, emotion, intellectual and spiritual health, it is the perfect stone to accompany me.  In fact, I think that this bracelet chose me.  I’d looked at it in passing, then wandered further up the street with friends.  I decided to go back to purchase it, and the artisan bagged it for me.  However, as soon as I stepped out of the shop, I felt a wave of emptiness, as if if weren’t complete.  I asked her to tie it on for me, and immediately felt grounded. I wear it on my right wrist so that I can gaze at it when writing, seeking divine inspiration.  Recently, I flipped it around so that it lay on my pulse point, thinking that it would act as a conduit for emotions I’ve been working on. Indeed, the messages that I got were powerful and disturbing, but happily, liberated a blockage that I’ve had for awhile.  I’m not sure what other communications I‘ll receive, but I am open to listening.
